Keep your fingers crossed! I've entered Nowhere to Run into two contests, the Daphne de Maurier for unpublished writers and the Golden Acorn for the Charter Oak Chapter of RWA. Both deadlines were March 15th and finalists will be announced for the Daphne by May 5th and the Golden Acorn by May 15th, and although that is quite some time from now, people are reading the work and evaluating. So, prayers and thoughts are needed daily.
Currently, I'm still working on Nowhere to Run and am very exicted about this project. It keeps me guessing on where the next scene will lead me.
Since losing my job the end of November, I've gone through a whole systematic grieving process and have come full circle. I forgive those who did wrong to me, but will never forget. I will offer them one piece of advice however, remember that what comes around, goes around. So, for the time being my greatest revenge will be success. Success in writing, success in medical transcription to make money while I write and to let them know that although they think they knocked me out, I'm brushing myself off and beginning again. Oh, and just so they know and the citizens in the business community, when they blame me for something gone wrong, remember, I've been gone since November. That's four months, how long will they blame me for mistakes they are making. It really makes me laugh that they are so blind. Remember, I have eyes and ears everywhere :D.

I have submitted NTR (Jo) to my dream agent and she has requested additional material. Nervously editing like a fool, again! So, keep your fingers crossed, say a prayer and check back soon!
